Designed for shop-floor engineers, it provides a very cost-effective simulation.
More than ten years in the forging market, numerous references in USA, UK, and Europe.

QForm simulates cold, warm, and hot closed die forging, as well as powder forging and electric upsetting. Equipment selection includes mechanical, and hydraulic presses with the option of multi-ram presses. QForm has special intuitive features for hammers and screw presses that allow the simulation to be run with multiple blows and adjustable blow energy just like your hammers and screw presses.

QForm provides simulation of material flow and precise prediction of all kinds of flow induced defects. The defects and grain-flow as well as temperature, strain and fracture factor are tracked in multi-station processes. QForm calculates residual stresses and springback in the part, stresses and deformation in pre-stressed and assembly dies. Results of simulation are presented by means of impressive 2D and 3D graphics and animation

QForm is object-based, with a self-explanatory easy to use interface. It works on PCs including laptops. QForm has a fully automated self-controlled meshing algorithm that works as a
"black box" without user's attention providing guaranteed quality of solution.

QForm comes with a comprehensive material database and is CAD integrated. The software is provided with on-site training available, regular users group meetings, a hot line and support through the Internet with guaranteed 24-hour feedback.

The next generation of Forging Simulation Software
The bestseller in Europe is now available in the USA.

Don't take our word for it, we urge you to try the free trial of QForm so you can decide for yourself.

It's the most accurate

It's by far the easiest to use.

It's very fast.

Why it is so accurate?

The FEM (Finite Element Mesh) is the basic core of any forging simulation program. QForm uses high order QUADRADIC elements that are completely self-generated by the "Smart Mesh Generator". You don't need to know a thing about FEM to insure that you will get the most accurate results possible. The Smart mesh generator puts fine mesh in areas of greater detail and larger mesh in areas of less detail insuring accurate results and fast speed of simulation.

LINEAR F.E.M. MESH
Notice the error of approximating a curve with straight lines.

QUADRATIC F.E.M. MESH
Notice how the curve is accurately approximated using the same number of nodes.

Five nodes along a curved surface, Linear vs. Quadratic F.E.M. mesh.

Why is it so easy to use?

QForm has a single interface that the user works with. There are no preprocessors or subroutines that need to be run. A simulation is set up through the "Data preparation Wizard" which walks the user through the set up step by step and eliminates the possibility of error or missed information. Once the Geometry is drawn and imported a simulation can be set up in two or three minutes.

Why is it so fast?

The speed of a simulation is proportional to the number of elements in the mesh. Because QForm generates it's own non-uniform F.E.M. it can build the optimum mesh density, putting a very fine mesh where it is needed for accuracy and a large mesh where accuracy is not so important. The results of the simulation are available as the simulation is running, so you do not need to wait until the entire simulation has finished running before you can begin to analyze the results. Once a simulation is running QForm does not require the users intervention. You can work on other projects while a simulation is running.

QForm is the best forging simulation software available, period!
